HARARE – A cheeky 13-year-old boy plotted a dramatic all-night sexual rendezvous with a hooker and sedated his siblings with sleeping tablets to avoid any disturbances, then got a rude awakening when the prostitute handed him a US$120 service bill.

Desperate, the Form 2 student at Watershed College in Marondera, dashed next door to ask for a quick bailout, leading to the arrest of Precious Teya, 26, who appeared before a Harare magistrate on Thursday charged with having sexual intercourse with a minor.

The court heard that the juvenile picked Teya from a dating site that he visited looking for sex on February 22. He then invited her to his Houghton Park residence the next day and hired a taxi for US$20 to bring her over.

The pair allegedly made arrangements for Teya to bring sleeping tablets that the naughty boy would administer to his siblings so they couldn’t disturb their all-night sexual expedition.

But when the hooker arrived, the boy developed cold feet and asked her to leave. Teya refused and pushed her way into the residence, the court was told.

As planned, the boy administered the sleeping tablets brought by Teya to his siblings, sending them into a deep slumber and leaving the two to make out in peace.

The two had protected sex, prosecutors said. But the minor, cited as the complainant, later balked and stopped after realising that “what he was doing was wrong.”

Unfortunately, some services had already been rendered, leading to Teya demanding US$120.

“The complainant agreed to have sexual intercourse with the accused person with protection and later realised that what he was doing was wrong,” prosecutors said.

“The complainant told the accused to go but same refused stating that she wanted money for her services.”
