HARARE – Zimbabwe Cricket has named former opening batsman Stuart Matsikenyeri as the head of Zimbabwe A coaching staff ahead of the one-day and four-day series against South Africa at home later this month.

Matsikenyeri will be assisted by Eric Chauluka who will take care of fielding while Njabulo Ncube will be in charge of bowling.

Clement Rizhibowa comes in as a fitness trainer, Keith Kulinga as the analyst, and Travor Wambe as the physiotherapist.

The cricket mother body also named Zimbabwe A squads for the upcoming series.

Eight players – Faraz Akram, Ryan Burl, Tendai Chatara, Tanaka Chivanga, Bradley Evans, Roy Kaia, Tapiwa Mufudza, and Richmond Mutumbami – have been picked for both formats.
