HARARE – A mum-of-three vanished without trace after leaving home for work on Saturday, February 8.

Thandiwe Chipamhadze, 32, left home in Mufakose, Harare, for her usual morning commute to work in Chisipite, where she works in a hair salon.

Her family says she sent out a text message to her niece at around 7AM saying she was having difficulties getting transport, and expressing concern that she would be late for work.

Chipamhadze, who lives with her husband and three young children, never arrived at work and has not been heard from or seen since.

Her desperate sister, Emilia, told ZimLive on Tuesday that they feared she had met harm.

“She has no history of mental illness and is not the kind of person who will just elope. She always returns home to her children. We desperately need the public’s help to find her,” said Emilia, who works in the same hair salon as her sister.

The family says they believe Chipamhadze’s last known location was a bus stop in an area of Mufakose known as Magandanga. She was wearing black jeans and a maroon top.
