JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Willard Katsande has signed a two-year deal with South African Premier Soccer League newcomers Sekhukhune United, reports said Tuesday.

The 35-year-old former Zimbabwe international was offloaded by Kaizer Chiefs last month after a decade with the club.

Katsande, a free agent, will be unveiled by the Johannesburg-based club this week after agreeing a two-year contract, according to football magazine KickOff.

At Sekhukhune, Katsande links up with countrymen Tapuwa Kapini, Jimmy Dzingai and Talent Chawapiwa, who just joined from AmaZulu.

Sekhukhune, meanwhile, have reportedly offloaded two other Zimbabweans – defender McClive Phiri and forward Walter Musona.
