HARARE – Premiership log leaders Ngezi Platinum and champions FC Platinum kept their 2023 title hopes alive with weekend victories in two separate Match Day 13 clashes played Saturday.

At Baobab Stadium, Ngezi consolidated top on the premiership log table with a 2-1 defeat of visiting Hwange to take their points tally to 26.

Four-time in a row champions FC Platinum also posted a crucial 2-0 victory over Chicken Inn at Mandava to move to second spot with 24 points to their credit.

At Luveve Stadium, Bulawayo Chiefs fell 2-0 to visiting Green Fuel while Manica Diamonds were 1-0 victors over Sheasham at Gibbo.

ZPC Kariba also beat Yadah 2-1 at Nyamhunga to complete Saturday’s Match Day 13 round of Castle Lager Premier Soccer League fixtures.

Match Day 13 continues this Sunday with a mouthwatering clash between giants Caps United and Highlanders at Barbourfields.

Bottom placed Black Rhinos entertain fellow Harare side Dynamos at Bata Stadium in Gweru.

Triangle FC are at home to Cranborne at Gibbo while the match between Herentals and Simba Bhora at Mandava completes the weekend diary of fixtures.
